Detroit morning stereo indicate Mojo in the Morning hours posted images of Fakih competing its 2007 "Stripper 101" contest. For the competition, strippers showed female listeners some moves and the "most effective student" was the grand-prize winner. According to the station, only girls had been in attendance and the performers have been all totally clothed.
The pictures, which the station proclaimed have been circulating on their webpage for many years, demonstrate Fakih dancing completely clothed and with dollar expenses stuffed in her bra immediately after winning the competitors.
The radio station says it was all in very good fun, but Mojo in the Morning hours wrote on its web page Monday that Miss USA officials contacted them "requesting a lot more photographs and information" related to Fakih's involvement in the contest. When the show's producers asked pageant officials if the illustrations or photos would have an effect on Fakih's name, they wouldn't reply.
"Mojo in the Morning hours fully supports Rimah Fakih as she represents Detroit and America in the Miss Universe contest," a Mojo staffer emailed Celebrity Circuit. "The stereo demonstrate will not entertain requests to drag her name by means of the mud."
In respect to a report posted on TMZ.com, Fakih earned prizes such as "jewelry, present cards, adult toys and a stripper pole for dwelling use" after successful the competitors.
